CVSS v3.1 |
| The seffaflik thru 0.0.9 is vulnerable to symlink attacks due to incorrect default permissions given to the .kimlik file and .seffaflik file, which is created with mode 0777 and 0775 respectively, exposing secrets to other local users. Additionally, the .kimlik file is written without symlink checks, allowing local attackers to overwrite arbitrary files. This can result in information disclosure and denial of service. |
| Use of entitlement "com.apple.security.cs.disable-library-validation" and lack of launch and library load constraints allows to substitute a legitimate dylib with malicious one. A local attacker with unprivileged access can execute the application with altered dynamic library successfully bypassing Transparency, Consent, and Control (TCC). Acquired resource access is limited to previously granted permissions by the user. Access to other resources beyond granted-permissions requires user interaction with a system prompt asking for permission.
This issue affects DaVinci Resolve on macOS in all versions.
Last tested version: 19.1.3 |
| The WatchGuard Mobile VPN with SSL Client on Windows does not properly configure directory permissions when installed in a non-default directory. This could allow an authenticated local attacker to escalate to SYSTEM privileges on a vulnerable system.
This issue affects Mobile VPN with SSL Client: from 11.0 through 12.11. |
| CA Client Automation (ITCM) allows non-admin/non-root users to encrypt a string using CAF CLI and SD_ACMD CLI. This would allow the non admin user to access the critical encryption keys which further causes the exploitation of stored credentials. This fix doesn't allow a non-admin/non-root user to execute "caf encrypt"/"sd_acmd encrypt" commands. |
| Nix is a package manager for Linux and other Unix systems that makes package management reliable and reproducible. A build process has access to and can change the permissions of the build directory. After creating a setuid binary in a globally accessible location, a malicious local user can assume the permissions of a Nix daemon worker and hijack all future builds. This issue was patched in version(s) 2.23.1, 2.22.2, 2.21.3, 2.20.7, 2.19.5 and 2.18.4. |
| Incorrect default permissions for some Intel(R) Memory and Storage Tool before version 2.5.2 within Ring 3: User Applications may allow an escalation of privilege. System software adversary with an authenticated user combined with a high complexity attack may enable escalation of privilege. This result may potentially occur via local access when attack requirements are present without special internal knowledge and requires active user interaction. The potential vulnerability may impact the confidentiality (high), integrity (high) and availability (high) of the vulnerable system, resulting in subsequent system confidentiality (none), integrity (none) and availability (none) impacts. |
| CYRISMA Sensor before 444 for Windows has an Insecure Folder and File Permissions vulnerability. A low-privileged user can abuse these issues to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM by replacing DataSpotliteAgent.exe or any other binaries called by the Cyrisma_Agent service when it starts |
| Multiple i-フィルター products contain an issue with incorrect default permissions. If this vulnerability is exploited, a local authenticated attacker may replace a service executable on the system where the product is running, potentially allowing arbitrary code execution with SYSTEM privileges. |
| Insecure permissions in the script /etc/init.d/lighttpd in AK-Nord USB-Server-LXL Firmware v0.0.16 Build 2023-03-13 allows a locally authenticated low-privilege user to execute arbitrary commands with root privilege via editing this script which is executed with root-privileges on any interaction and on every system boot. |
| The Nix, Lix, and Guix package managers default to using temporary build directories in a world-readable and world-writable location. This allows standard users to deceive the package manager into using directories with pre-existing content, potentially leading to unauthorized actions or data manipulation. This affects Nix before 2.24.15, 2.26.4, 2.28.4, and 2.29.1; Lix before 2.91.2, 2.92.2, and 2.93.1; and Guix before 1.4.0-38.0e79d5b. |
| Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in Smart Device Communication Gateway preinstalled on MELIPC Series MI5122-VW firmware versions "05" to "07" allows a local attacker to execute arbitrary code by saving a malicious file to a specific folder. As a result, the attacker may disclose, tamper with, destroy or delete information in the product, or cause a denial-of-service (DoS) condition on the product. |
| Incorrect default permissions in some Endurance Gaming Mode software installers before version 1.3.937.0 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| The NetCloud Exchange client for Windows, version 1.110.50, contains an insecure file and folder permissions vulnerability. A normal (non-admin) user could exploit the weakness in file and folder permissions to escalate privileges, execute arbitrary code and maintain persistence on the compromised machine. It has been identified that full control permissions exist on the ‘Everyone’ group (i.e. any user who has local access to the operating system regardless of their privileges). |
| Clario through 2024-04-11 for Desktop has weak permissions for %PROGRAMDATA%\Clario and tries to load DLLs from there as SYSTEM. |
| Incorrect default permissions in some Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor memory controller configurations when using Intel(R) SGX may allow a privileged user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| The Toshiba printers are vulnerable to a Local Privilege Escalation vulnerability. An attacker can remotely compromise any Toshiba printer. As for the affected products/models/versions, see the reference URL. |
| Incorrect default permissions in some Intel(R) Gaudi(R) software installers before version 1.18 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| Incorrect execution-assigned permissions for some Edge Orchestrator software for Intel(R) Tiber™ Edge Platform may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access. |
| Incorrect default permissions in the AMD Optimizing CPU Libraries (AOCL) installation directory could allow an attacker to achieve privilege escalation potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution. |
| Incorrect Default Permissions vulnerability in Hitachi JP1/Extensible SNMP Agent for Windows, Hitachi JP1/Extensible SNMP Agent on Windows, Hitachi Job Management Partner1/Extensible SNMP Agent on Windows allows File Manipulation. This issue affects JP1/Extensible SNMP Agent for Windows: from 12-00 before 12-00-01, from 11-00 through 11-00-*; JP1/Extensible SNMP Agent: from 10-10 through 10-10-01, from 10-00 through 10-00-02, from 09-00 through 09-00-04; Job Management Partner1/Extensible SNMP Agent: from 10-10 through 10-10-01, from 10-00 through 10-00-02, from 09-00 through 09-00-04. |
